Has any of you signed up with this? I am already ofsted registered and my employer uses childcare vouchers. Is this necessary on top of that?

Yes, have signed up.   The scheme is not yet active for parents (apart from those in the pilot) but once it does become active you need to be on the scheme for parents to be able to find you.  Parents currently getting Childcare Vouchers will probably continue to do so until their next renewal point... then they may change scheme (as long as neither parent earns over 100,000).
